The Castle is a traditional pub in the heart of Walthamstow Village with local  ales, fine wines, delicious food and great coffee served by welcoming staff in  a relaxed and informal atmosphere. The Castle is all a good local should be –  dog and child friendly with a snug fire when it’s cold outside and a garden in which to linger on those warm days and long evenings of summer. 

Monthly menu changes introduce new and interesting dishes but there is always  the Castle Burger, the Beetroot and Quinoa Burger and a 300 gram rib steak available and a choice of traditional Sunday lunches that can stretch long into the afternoon.
